Automation Engineer
Tri-Power Design, LLC. has the following job opening:
Experienced and fast-paced Engineering and Design firm is seeking a talented, driven individual to join its engineering team. Tri-Power's projects and client base span all types of industries including Automation, Medical, Aerospace, Automotive, Consumer Products, and many others. Tri-Power Design, along with its talented staff, has a solid well earned reputation for its uncompromised quality and innovative solutions using the latest technology, industry tools, and software.
This opportunity requires professionalism and hands-on skills. The right candidate must be able to solve design problems and create prototypes using our CAD/CAM systems. The right individual may also be able to utilize their skills and ideas within Tri-Powers 4000sq/ft manufacturing facility adjacent to our design offices.
Applicants MUST have a BSME degree or higher from an ABET accredited university and should have experience and/or proficiency in most of the following:
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced problem solving ability
- Competence to work as part of a team or on their own from a concepts creation straight through manufacturing
- Design for manufacturing in areas such as plastic parts
- Design or maintenance of Automation Systems and Machinery.
- 3D CAD modeling using Pro/Engineer Wildfire or Solidworks 2007, part, assembly, detailing, and other modules within these packages.
- Mechanical hands-on ability to construct, troubleshoot, or prototype design scenarios.
- Knowledge and use of GD&T
- CAM and CNC Manufacturing, shop, and/or machining experience a plus
All candidates must have standard computer expertise such as Email, MS-word, MS-excel, etc.
