Financial Analyst
Job Tittle: Financial Analyst
Pay per hour: $16-$21 hr. (W2 Contractor)
Hours per week: 40 hrs (per week)
Contract Duration: 3 months
Location: Hybrid- Remote/Newark, NJ (must be able to commute to NJ 2 times a week. Note: The assignment will start out at Newark, NJ for training, then go Hybrid)
Job Description:
• Data position: running standard SAP transactions, downloading data, drilling down to find data, manipulate data
• Responsible for extracting data from the SAP Financial system, updating schedules & performing some analytics to support responses to Distribution rate discovery as well as the upcoming 2023 Transmission Formula Rate Tru-Up.
• Support the month end financial closes particularly with respect to regulatory accounting postings and analysis.
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree
• No accounting or industry experience required
• Comfortable with working with large volumes of data and spreadsheets.
• Advance Excel skills- must know how to do VLOOKUP’s
• Must be good with numbers and working with large volumes of data and spreadsheets
• Must have strong communication & analytical skills (particularly with respect to EXCEL & ACCESS)
Preferred Skills:
• Prior analyst experience & Talent with MS Access
• SAP experience preferred, but not required (as company can train on this)
• MS Excel and Access training & certifications a plus
• Comfortable working with large amounts of data and working in a team collaborating on a continuous basis with team members
